On Tuesday 10 of October 2023 Minister for Finance, Mr. Michael McGrath T.D., delivered his Budget 2024 speech to the Dáil.

Budget 2024 was about striking a balance between providing supports to help households and businesses cope with the increased cost-of-living, addressing climate change commitments and preparing for future challenges.

Budget 2024 delivered a total spending package of almost €14 billion, made up of a cost-of-living package worth €2.3 billion, core spending and taxation of €6.8 billion and non-core spending of €4.8 billion.
