On Tuesday 11 October 2016 Minister for Finance, Mr. Michael Noonan, delivering his first budget since the general election.

Despite the Irish economy performing well during 2016, the government’s room for manoeuver on tax and expenditure matters was somewhat limited.

WENTWORTH Budget 2016 Summary

On Tuesday 13 October 2015 Minister for Finance Michael Noonan TD delivered the final budget of the current Government. This is the first budget in a number of years which has been delivered against the backdrop of a recovering economy.

The Companies Act 2014 commenced on 1 June of this year and will impact on all Irish companies. The new Companies Act is intended to simplify company law and to reduce red tape,making it easier to operate a business in Ireland.
